How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  2. Bring back old way to enter event times!

    The new way of entering the time of an event is too confusing and takes longer to use. Please bring back the old way!

  3. Please change date and time entry

    Can you please change the updated version ... Entering date and time for an event is now super complex and it's very frustrating...

    Also when I click on a date I want the event I enter to select that date ... Not the beginning of that week

    Other than this its a great app

  4. Can you please make more distinct colors available for events?

    Colors available now are quite similar. I would like to see more shades if possible. Some pastels and fluorescent like lime green would be nice.

  6. Be able to add a birthday manually

    Would like to add birthdays and have them show up as such without adding them as a contact. Useful for young kids who would not be in contacts.

  7. Don't delete tasks when completed.

    Show them as checked/striked out instead of making the task disappear. I would like to keep them as reference that I have done them.

  8. Drag&Drop

    A lot of users would like to move an event or a to-do by Drag&Drop it on Weekly View. (from a current date slot to a new date slot)
    It will be really much time-saving and convenient.

  10. Search beyond 6 months

    It would be nice to be able to search beyond 6 months. I want to be able to see all the dates I have planned instead of just some of them when I search.

  13. Tasks in agenda view

    Tasks with a assigned date show in the monthly calendar view but not in the agenda view. That would be awesome to have that view of ALL daily calendar tasks and events in one list

  14. Templates save all info

    When you save a template, it should include which calendar and the time. Not just the title and the location. It gets annoying when you have to adjust the time for ever single event you are trying to add when you are using a template. Templates are supposed to make it quick and easy

  19. Sync with Google Calendar

    I really love that Awesome Calendar synchs with Google Tasks but it would be great if it also brought in Google Calendar events (like my GooCal app does right now).

  20. Template times

    There seems to be an issue with the template times saving correctly. I don't remember having this problem a few weeks ago. Now, when I enter a template, I have to edit the start and end time (requiring extra steps and time), which defeats the whole purpose of a template. Please fix! Thank you.
