Date on the icon
Please put the day of the month on the calendar icon, but without having to enable badges. While keeping the todos as a badge.

This is not allowed to developer except for Apple.

Badges are normally used for number of notifications on an app... looks awkward to represent the day. I use awesomecalendar to replace the reloaded calendar but would be great to at least have the that feature.. date on the icon.

iPod/iPhone preloaded calendar already shows date. Do we really need two?!

The date can be added in settings, but it's a bad design because it's a circular badge on the corner of the icon and appears to signal alerts of items pending, as with voicemails, new texts, etc.

Yes, you can add the number of the date in the settings, but it's annoying and distracting because it looks like it is signaling the number of alerts as it does with telephone messages, email, and text messages.

With the standard iPhone calendar, the icon on my home screen shows the Date AND day of the week clearly WITHOUT opening the calendar. I need the date readily visible on my home screen at first glance, just like i check the time of day. I need to check DATE and time on my main icon screen without opening an app!!

Also it will be great if the day of the week is there too

It would be very nice if the day if the month can be shown on the calendar icon while the badge shows the # of events/to-dos.

It's under settings and badge. Turn your badge on to the day of the month.

Please allow the date on the app icon so we can see the day!
