    Um, people, this is an iPhone setting - go to Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendar and scroll down to Sync and you can tell it how far back to keep events.

    Same here. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the calendar if I can't go back to look at past jobs. May as well go back to paper since I end up having do this a way just to keep track.

    I too need to look back at the past year, please make it optional for events to be deleted or at least make it optional to retain events.

    I agree; we should have an option to delete all past events, or keep last 12, 6 or 3 months of records. I like checking a year ago to see when I last did something important.

    Yes please!!! I went to look back one month and all my appts. We're GONE!!! I have to take pics of the month in order to look back. This is a horrible feature to have all my appts erased.

    I won't be buying this app for this reason. I decide when to delete - not the app.

    Give option to save events, to do, appointments for a selectable amount of time including never delete. I need to keep certain information for many years.
