All the data should be saved until the USERS delete them! And it would be nice for u to let us creat an account to keep the info
It's annoying if the events I've done or even left undone are gone. They should be kept in case I want to chase back the old days, they are part of my memory. And what if I accidentally delete the app? I just don't get it why events on my calendar could vanish without my knowing. PLZ fix it or perfect it. So far you've done so brilliant

Please check Event Sync option in the iOS settings area and make sure that you have set it to All Events.
Here is path for you to check the Event Sync option.
iPhone/iPad settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Sync

I’ve been using my paid Awesome Cal since 2017, I don’t know why my 5 years calendar daily notes has been deleted automatically even if the setting is all evens?

I agree with this. I need all my info on the calendar to remain until I say so. This is the calendar I depend on all the time. Info must remain unless the user chooses to remove them. Please make this happen.

I had this problem too... And read a comment that it's a phone setting, not awesome calendar. On iPhone, go to settings...mail/contacts/calendar... Then under cameo choose to sync all events. I saw it on a different post so wanted to put it here to share the knowledge.

I use this app to track things for dr visits. If my events are deleted I have no way of telling the dr what days I did what!!!

Very angry that lost all events in 1 night and can't to retire the events again. It's not the first time. Nearly once time per year.

I just figured out this can be fixed by going to "setting", " mail contacts calendars", then way at the bottom "sync", and change that to 1 mon, 2 mos 3 mos 6 mos or "all events". " all events" will save all your awesome calendar entries forever. This is for iPhones

You can change your settings to retain past events. Also, you can choose to save your notes on icloud. I don't know if these features have been added since you made the suggestion or before, but those options are both there. Explore Awesome Calwndar's settings pages.
