How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Search a word or name in all the years of past events.

    It's extremely important to be able to find exact information in events from the past years. This search engine would make AwesomeCalendar the greatest of all calendars.

  3. Ability to assign a ringtone or chime to an event.

    It would would be nice to be able to assign a ringtone or chime to an event so that it stands out among all your other reminders. This option would be available as you are creating the event with the reminder time options/recurring etc. and with the option to snooze. Similar to the iPhone's clock alarm settings except that you can set a specific date to it.

  5. SYNC, BACKUP & DESKTOP VERSION!

    This would be PERFECT if it would
    1. sync all changes between multiple devices (iPhone to iPad...AND user-to-user so I could share the calendar with my son on a different iTunes account

    1. BACK UP -- worried I will lose info so I'm still putting it in 2 places just in case

    2. Have a DESKTOP version that ALSO synced with all devices....mainly so I can print out the calendars (because I can't print from my iPhone/iPad) and SAVE monthly layouts for future reference (if my stuff gets deleted since there's no back up)

  6. Time options

    In the day view and week view I can only see the starting time of an event. It would be great if I can see the starting time and ending time of an event in the day and week view.

  7. I would love a search by name or appointment . Then have it list all that have happens so far and any scheduled in the future months ahead.

    I would love a search for the calendar. I'd be able to search by name or appointments, sick days things like that. To have it list past or pending scheduled. It would be easier than flipping through the months.

  8. Add the option of removing built in holidays to declutter and customize

    Simply add the option of removing built in holidays to declutter and customize the calendar. Not everyone celebrates the same holidays and it visually clutters the calendar with events that aren’t necessarily needed by everyone. Or allow fine tuning settings for holiday preferences. Maybe someone wants to see all US holidays or maybe someone wants to see both US and Canadian holidays....or any number of combinations. Maybe even add options for lunar calendar events if anyone might need those. Basically include tons of info that is all editable, removable, optional. Maybe even have expansion packs for specific calendars like Farmers…

  11. Do not insert spam advertising posing as events into my calendar

    I use this app as it is excellent.
    Filling up my week with ads for fucking sunglasses does not qualify for excellent.
    Either tell me how to turn off this nonsense in settings or I'll find another calendar app

  13. Add more stickers

    Your app would be perfect if it just had more stickers :-) I love everything else about it… They're just isn't the correct stickers for things I added to my calendar like kids school events, court dates, or parties other than birthdays. I would also like to have one for my different household bills like electricity, rent, water, and phone. Thanks for listening to my ideas :-)

  14. Holidays

    I would like to delete specific Holidays that are religious. I am not a Muslim and don’t want those holidays on my calendar. As I don’t think they would like Jewish holidays on there calendar.

  16. Show full event title in Month View

    For example the event 'Rachel's Birthday drinks' just shows up as 'Rachel's' on the monthly view. Can't it be carried over to the next line to show full event title?

  18. More choice for alarms event

    It could be useful to have more choice In the event alerts alarm !
    Could you add a option to choose alarm Xmn before the END of the évent.
    When i have planned a évent for my children, i will be alerted 5mn before the END ans so i wont be late to leave home and take them up ! or if i have a train to take, my alarm will remind me to stop my meeting i had planned, and so, i will not miss my train !

  19. Ability to assign a color to a person or event.

    There are so many color options/shades. If I choose to code all my daughters events with red, I would like to be able to put her name on the exact color so I don't have to guess each time I add a new event for her.
