How can we improve AwesomeCalendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  3. I would love to be able to 'snooze' reminders.

    I would like to be able to snooze alerts by 5,10 and 15 minutes.

  5. Turning off certain holidays

    I'd like to be able to pick and choose what holidays or birthdays show upon my calendar. Give me a list option where I can deselect the ones I don't want to see on my calendar.

  8. I'd like the ability to delete a read only entry

    Some read only entries are not relevant to my day ie some holidays are not relevant to my state or sometimes my job and they take up valuable space. I'd also like to delete some appointments sent to me that are automatically entered into my diary

    The option to repeat activities weekly, monthly, or annually, rather than having to do each manually. Thank you

    Being able to add photos with events would put a picture with the date involved for a better visualization of that date.

  11. See invisible events

    Displays month and week do not see more than 3 or 4 events. It would be nice to report the presence of other non-visible events.

  12. Delete holidays

    Having an option to delete certain holidays would be helpful. In Canada there are sometimes 5 different holidays showing up and I cannot see my own events. Being able to delete certain holidays or having provincial specific holidays would be great.

  14. Add shift work option that allows a day to be completely colored differently to easily see if it is a work day or off day...

    If there was a shift work option that allows the day to be a different color when working or off that would make this app better. I love the app but have to enter in every work day and time. Would be better if the days were shaded a different color for easy reference.

  16. Better integration with Google Tasks! Where are my Task list titles etc...

    Don't get me wrong, I love that you have finally synced with Google Tasks, but as it currently stands I don't find it useful, because it doesn't work well with Google Tasks. Where are the "list titles" etc. If I can't group/sort my tasks in the same way that I group my Google Tasks, then I will continue to use GoTasks for now, because it imports all of my Google Tasks lists and then allows me to group, sort, add date/time, alarms, and also tells me when something is overdue. So, I was stoked about the Google Tasks sync, but…

  18. Allow for wrapped text

    Having wrapped text would allow one to see the full event title in the month view without it getting cut off since it doesn't fit on 1 line. Put it as an on/off switch in settings.

    Last update you forced ads on us - get back to what made you the best calendar app. Either kill the ads or my whole family will find a new app.
