I use many calendars in this app. It's nice to look at a year view with days highlighted in the color of the calendar that has an appointment in that day. It's very helpful when looking for trends in your appointments. Like which month do I consistently work more or less.

I can't add a screen shot from the iPhone but Yuna is correct you can only see the date number. But that's all you need if you highlight the date in the color(s) of the calendar(s) that have appointments on that day. I have this view on another calendar app but I like awesomecal's interface more. I have recently learned that my events add from Yuna to the other app but do not delete. So I need Yuna to update or I need to dedicated use to the other app.
